Techincal Crew Position

Technical Crew Position (limited to Facility Rental assignments as determined by designated High School building Theater Manager). Seeking high school students.

Must be familiar with:

• audio system setup including operating both analog and digital mixing boards (mic and monitor placement, patching audio channels, send/receive busses, equalizing and setting levels)
• stage lighting including rigging, focusing and gelling of conventional fixtures, rigging, focusing and programming of LED and other intelligent fixtures, and the patching, programming and operating of an EOS-based lighting control console
• basic follow-spot operation

Internal candidates (currently employed by the Olentangy Local School District) must submit an internal online application in Applicant Tracking.

External candidates (substitutes and ESCCO employees) must submit an external online application in Applicant Tracking and complete an online Support Candidate Assessment. Applicants may revisit their online application at any time to make necessary additions or changes.

The online Support Candidate Assessment is sent via a link under separate email cover. On occasion, the email may end up in junk or spam mail. If so, the link will be titled “Do Not Reply” with the subject “Regarding your Olentangy Local Schools application”. Keep in mind that the assessment is a timed assessment, so please set aside approximately 45 minutes of uninterrupted time before you begin the process. Once the assessment is started, it must be completed.
