There will be a Academic Success Building Substitute position at Hyatts Middle School  for the 2024-2025 school year. 

Hyatts Middle School is looking for a highly motivated individual who is interested in gaining experience in a middle school setting.  This person should have experience in mathematics and will work with students in small groups focusing on these skills.  This part-time position will begin immediately.

 Hyatts Middle School is looking for a highly motivated, who is looking to gain experience in a middle school setting. This person should have experience in literacy and will work with students in small groups focusing on these skills.  This part-time position will begin in October and end in March. 

Once selected, this person will need to obtain a certified substitute license and will report to Hyatts Middle School.

Other essential functions: ensure the safety of students; provide academic support to students in small groups, prepare clear and timely lesson plans; demonstrate knowledge of subject matter; create an environment that is conducive to learning; provide instruction that supports the progression of learning for students, support the collection and usage of data, collect documentation as needed; and, observe ethics of the teaching profession.

Qualified candidates will be employed through the Educational Service Center of Central Ohio (ESCCO) and must be active on Frontline Absence Management as a certified substitute with ESCCO. For more information on becoming a certified substitute, visit the ESCCO’s website at ESCCO.
